The Man-Eater of Malgudi* by R.K. Narayan. A writer I’ve acquired about ten books by yet have only read a couple of his stories. What’s one more?
*autocorrect changed this to Malahide, which is near Dublin. Suggests a very different book

"Have you ever read any #book that’s a slice of life? "
I replied with RK Narayan's Malgudi stories, but I've just now realised that #aSuitableBoy could technically be described as slice of life. The fattest slice in history, but still 😍😀 #Booksky

THE VENDOR OF SWEETS by R.K. NARAYAN is a short novel that hides a surprising depth and humanity. Expert in Asian literatures Claire Chambers guides us through Narayan’s Malgudi.

I have a question re Malgudi Days. I’ve never seen it. Every time I’ve mentioned it to anyone they’d talk about it fondly in terms of the nostalgia associated with it, but I’ve never really heard anyone talk about it otherwise, no references are made.
Has anyone actually watched it?

My favourite book of all time is probably going to be R.K. Narayan's "Malgudi Days".
