I pass very well. I have a ton of solidarity with transfems of all stripes, who largely exist in a wide range of "marginality" and varying severities of outgroup, than i do with like a lot of the vaguer categories of "queer" who seem to generally hate all trans people but want woke ways to say it

One of the funnier things about a certain group of academics that swear to God they must protect race scientists for the sake the of academy, but go out their way to relegate, not cite, and ignore scholars that study race, gender, and marginality. I don’t know who they are trying to fool.

Although I do think it’s reading into Addams’ work a bit. Valverde sees the split less quant/qual and more about universities claiming knowledge domain over journalists/novelists/reformers. She suggests methodology of “miserologists” was variegated
