I don't own a car because I ran the maths and concluded that taxi plus rental cars and/or trains was going to be cheaper than car ownership
I'm not discounting the benefits of car ACCESS. What I'm saying is car ownership, sucks. Even if you're in a car dependent place. ESPECIALLY if you're in a car dependent place.

Growing up I hated maths but always said "well who cares because I'll always have a calculator" and even though it's true now bc of phones, I am now absolutely shit at maths, to the point where that part of my brain doesn't work at all. And that's basically what AI will do to creative thinking lol
