AI suverenita Kanady: Výzvy a príležitosti
Kanada je známa svojou silnou pozíciou v oblasti výskumu umelej inteligencie, ale prečo sa jej nedarí preniesť tieto inovácie do ekonomického rastu? V rozhovore s Annou Jahn, riaditeľkou Centra pre médiá, technológie a demokraciu na McGill University, Ayush Prakash skúma prekážky, ktorým Kanada čelí pri dosahovaní AI suverenity. Zistili, že samotný domáci model nie je dostatočný a že spolupráca medzi strednými krajinami je kľúčová. Jahn zdôrazňuje potrebu silnej politickej vôle, realistického posúdenia kanadských silných stránok a aktívneho zapojenia do bilaterálnych a multilaterálnych partnerstiev. Rozhovor tiež poukazuje na dôležitosť verejného porozumenia AI a zodpovedného používania tejto technológie.
## Kto má povedať v politike AI?
Rozhovor sa zaoberá rozdelením moci v oblasti politiky umelej inteligencie. Jahn identifikuje štyri kľúčové skupiny: výskumníkov, verejnosť, vládu a priemysel (ktorý často lobuje). Medzi týmito skupinami však existuje značná nezhoda – výskumníci majú problém efektívne komunikovať, vlády ťažko držia krok s technológiou a verejnosť sa cíti zapojená do procesu len okrajovo.

This is great news, and as the article mentions this is just the beginning. When I ride anse-a-l'orme it's filled with students, meaning their destination is UdeM/Poly/McGill and most people are arriving on feeder buses from suburbs.
