#mediafication
Gee they've never been trans clearly. We've NEVER had media to bond over with people like us. Well until Twitch and the mediafication of the masses.

Social mediafication of every aspect of our damn lives.

Anyway, I donated to the GoFundMe and now GoFundMe suggests I follow Paris Hilton. Which—wtf? I mean, maybe Paris Hilton is amplifying worthy GoFundMes that I might want to donate to, but a) I don't need "shopping" suggestions for donations and b) the social mediafication of donations is weird.

The whole TalkSport strategy is to employ the stupidest people and get them to say dumb shit to make people outraged. It's the 'social-mediafication' of journalism. It fucking stinks the place out. I never engage with, or listen to, anything by them.

The social mediafication of everything warping peoples brains to give them these fucked senses of para-social entitlement and this hyper reactionary behavior akin to a Gen x lead paint huffer. Folks' neurons and dopamine receptors need to be mass cleansed, I swear...

I mean, if we wanna confront the issues we gotta look at how we got here too, which is a lot of the 2000/10’s social mediafication of art and how a LOT of currently popular artists were part of that problem.

I'll say... interactions with fics have really dropped off in recent years. I don't know if it's just our fandom with the anime on pause or a broader thing, but I think there's been a social-mediafication of how people interact with fanfic...

War? Nah, it's just another corporate profit zone. #mediamised

Mainstream media reports 'war,' but independent journalists uncover the real story: a violation of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for corporate gain. The casualties are the same.

#mediafication #independentvoice #corporateblackhole

The fact that many payment apps are set to publicly share information about your transactions by default is just a crazy example of the social mediafication of literally everything.

jangan nak bodoh kat sini social mediafication ni ibarat fastfood package meal macam happy meal free toy untuk tarik perhatian kanak kanak pastu mau salahkan ibubapa sesaja. Sesuatu bisness itu ada kuasa untuk tidak buat sedemikian tapi kenapa mau jugak market kepada kanak kanak? Niatnya jelas.

I think social media should be banned from children below 16 y/o focus buat jati diri sendiri dari hop from one mental illness to the other sebab kamu terlalu banyak main tiktok.
Social mediafication also nuked off a lot of age appropriate platforms

Sometimes the social mediafication of language is so bad lmao. How has "ts" gone from "this shit" to "this"

Social-mediafication of the markets. Quick hits and lack of long term insight. Everything is reactive. Nothing is forward thinking.

Boom or bust. Except the only ones booming are the ones in the administration or Congress.

I don't want to be this person, but one reason I think the mediafication of daily waking life is a catastrophe is that in their daily waking life, a whole lot of people don't seem to fucking THINK, about anything

Social mediafication of policy.

Exams protect students from racial and other kinds of bias. They also allow schools to improve, as more teacher assessment means teachers marking their own homework (sometimes literally, alas).

Has Zack thought about these points? Or is it a cheap applause line?
Fair play from the Mail.

I said what I said.

somewhere along the path of the complete social mediafication of life we decided that dunking on and meme-ifing abusers is the same as denouncing bad behavior and supporting victims and we’re all expected to act like that’s normal and if we call it out we’re seen as defending the perpetrator yeah ok

AAAARGH I hate the social mediafication of the nervous system.

Like a weird thing for me lately is the online sphere of art I do just seems to get more and more degraded by social-mediafication, whereas for all the jokes you could lay about the modern book business, it's still a place where people get excited about some fantasy author's latest 1400 pager.

Is it that other big names are on it? Is it the ease with which it is to use? Is it the social mediafication aspect of it?
October 30, 2025 at 6:37 PM
And some of that is the social-mediafication of things. Maybe a lot of it? But I wonder if also it's like in 2010 the people were a different set of people-- ones more likely to seek you out and support, as opposed to people scrolling IG, seeing "content" as creatorless excretions from the Internet.

Yeah, it's really disappointing for a variety of reasons, the social mediafication of TCG spaces past stuff like Facebook groups has changed how/if I even want to engage with the game. Feels like the only response is more focused private spaces/blogs & RSS feeds

The big difference is prior to social mediafication, when you got those million views, you got literally all of the ad revenue that came from it.
September 24, 2025 at 4:50 PM
This is just another step in the social mediafication of everything where your performance of emotion in response to political news is surveiled by amateurs with a camera and communication device always on their person

My contribution to the Herta discourse is that the social mediafication of people’s brains prevents them from thinking on 2+ year timelines

Or maybe it causes them to rather see the discourse machine go brrrrr

Not sure which is worse frankly
8th! He only needs 8th!

This is so very easily achievable to then replace an aging Perez or Bottas!

Why wouldn't anyone want to see this?!

The whole "but if they hold some evil belief" thing feels like a symptom of social mediafication of actual relationships.

People are used to extrapolating out 300 characters to an entire series of personal failings, only a matter of time before that gets applied to people we actually know
