Happy Hump Day!🐋 The humpback whale's genus name, Megaptera, means "big-winged" in Latin. While humpbacks don't *actually* have wings, their giant pectoral flippers reach ~15 feet (4.6 metres) in length and help them gracefully "fly" through the water.
