🐋 Humpback whales make mysterious sounds above the water, including a low-frequency rumble called the “thrum.”

What might these overlooked signals teach us about recognizing extraterrestrial intelligence?

Crazy-lucky shot. I was taking a photo of the wave and two humpback whales breached simultaneously in the background. Didn't even know it until I looked later. From earlier as the whales have been gone since April.

False. The entire point of these emails are to hook whales and by whales I mean senior citizens suffering from dementia and barely competent adults who accidentally set up recurring donations and bleed their bank accounts dry without realizing it. These emails are ENTIRELY about finding those marks.
please remember this is also a consequence of citizens united

when we allow corporations and billionaires to give unlimited sums to dark money PACs, campaigning has to be 75% fundraising to even compete on the same playing field
With all my heart I hope Talarico wins, but this kind of thing has to stop; it is one of the reasons so many Democratic voters hate the Democratic party. And it's not a Talarico problem; it's a Democratic consultant-class problem.

I know I ask for this at least once a year, but can some nice historian reassure me that the world has ALWAYS been this stupid?
