We just don’t pay attention to the international warnings. It’s very frustrating. Alex Carey went in hard in the 1970s & 80s to tell us what he’d seen in his archival research in America. We could have prevented this. He even tracked our unions being surprisingly obliging with these neoliberals. 🤬
