We had dinner at Lito's Burritos and the Ofrenda for those killed by ICE was moving, just heartbreaking and infuriating.

I absolutely think the federal occupation of Minnesota should be on the minds of voters today. But I do find myself deeply uncomfortable with seeing large non-MN accounts sharing images from the literal murders of our neighbors. Locally it’s mostly been images of the memorials.

the memorials are good. the raw feeling comes from everything around you falling apart despite your best efforts, but pushing back is good. that's what the stickers feel like right now

Profoundly heartbreaking to see voters from Texas to Minnesota leave their “I Voted” stickers at memorials for people killed by Trump’s ICE agents.

A reminder of what’s at stake this election.

Historic views and memorials deserve respect. Any new structure should be carefully considered so it doesn't overshadow Arlington's significance.

Discussing with a brother and friends, I keep seeing posts of people in Minneapolis bringing their ‘I voted’ stickers to the Pretti and Good memorials. deeply touching. People want to somehow link this to them, to mourning and honouring, both.

Let us hope for a result that meets the moment.
