Photograph taken last June, looking back at the sea and rocky headlands behind before venturing up a hill from Menabilly beach towards Gribbin Head. Cow parsley stretches into frame from the bottom left, above a pale dusty footpath. The sea is a lovely mid-blue and the sky above paler, with a few clouds near the sea. Cornish is most predominant by far in my DNA. It's the place of my ancestors and where I feel most at ease. I mean look at it, pretty darn beautiful eh? 😊

There's a very interesting / odd five-part rumination on Menabilly / Manderley / Rebecca / Daphne, on Medium, which posits a theory about the book reflecting a supposed affair/scandal in the Rashleigh family, owners of the estate ... well worth a read for affectionados.
