#mermay day 25! I had some color issues with this one. And cuteness issues. Somehow this just wasn’t as cute as I wanted it to be and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to make it better. I went through a bunch of faces and eye and placements.

Unicorn & Layer Cake

A very careless, bad sketch that just barely conveys a mermay unicorn being surprised by a layer cake. It’s really just a bunch of scribbles.

I’m so behind on #mermay2025! So here’s another WIP for the prompts stitch and gardener (from #mermaykidlit2025)

And then mixing it with the frogmaid from @cuteartdemaria ‘s #DTIYS #cuteartdemaria7k

#drawingeveryday
#kawaii
An incomplete drawing of a green cat mermaid that is an interpretation of a #DTIYS with a green frogmaid. There is an ombre pink orange and blue tail and fin and she’s wearing a bikini top made of seashells. She’s sitting on a rock.

A WIP today.

I used Plants vs Zombies for inspiration and was reminded how hilarious a game it is.

I’ll be posting the finished version tomorrow!

Can you tell what the prompts are?

#mermay day 25 (but really day 21) Posting a bit early today because no sleep. I fiddled a lot with the transparency of the fish tank and the fish’s astronaut helmet. I wanted it to be more opaque but then the mermaid was obscured.
