This is some of my favourite local cycling infrastructure. Bike path all the way underneath the elevated railway, with a separate dedicated walking path. Lots of drinking fountains along the way too. #Merri-Bek

Merri-bek Labor has been waging a war on the war on cars for years, making being pro-car and pro-parking their key differentiator from Merri-bek Greens, their main local opponents and with whom they mostly align on local issues.

It’s no surprise they’re using this as a political opportunity.
