For the 5th day of Villaintober we go a bit more obscure with the leader of the Neros Empire, God Neros from Choujinki Metalder.
God Neros, was an evil scientist who to the public is a philanthropic businessman but aims to rule the world by utilizing catastrophes to sell weapons.

Bridy had so many episode appearances on Metalder I thought he was going to be a background guy forever. Then they finally gave him lore.

#GHWP tonight at 10E, join us for a double dose of Metal Heroes action. First, on a special Metalder, what could be better to ring in the spooky season than spiders and werewolves? How about a spider werewolf? Then, Juspion has an encounter with the Golden Bird and the ghosts of his parents.

Especially knowing how different Metalder and onward ended up being, I think it's a pretty good sendoff all things considered. It's got the insanity and spectacle of Metal Heroes down to a T, and I really enjoyed the inclusion of Diana as a lead, It's a really charming show!

Lmao, so according to Seiko Seno and the assistant directors he worked with, Metalder was actually NOT cancelled despite the short episode count. Thank you for putting the rumors to rest.

I loved in Metalder when God Neros quantified Metalder's hitting power just to go " I will give my tame violinist cyber-surgery so he can psychologically attack Metalder with music and not die. "

@discotekmedia.bsky.social Any more Toku Time releases forthcoming? You are so close to finishing Metal Hero!
Metalder and Spielban would be day one purchases
While I am at it a release of 1995s Mechanical Violator Hakaider film would be friggin sweet.

OK, if you wanna talk all timer shows, Choujinki Metalder. Incredible show. Possibly my favourite toku. It's certainly in the top 3. Although that's a nebulous thing that can change day to day.

Given the success of Power Rangers, it was only natural Saban wanted lightning to strike twice with another Toku show, merging two Metal Heroes series, Metalder and Spielban, into one. Is VR Troopers a masterpiece? Or is its love baked in nostalgia?

Metalder, o Homem Máquina
The Poem of Wind and Trees was created by Keiko Takemiya,
who also created Toward the Terra,
the film of which had a theme song by Da Capo,
who had a song on the soundtrack of Metalder,
which was adapted into VR Troopers,
which had a game for the Sega Genesis,
a console Shaq-Fu was on.

Watching Headmasters flounder about with stiff basic characters, interactions and fights in 87 like - buddy youre in the age of Gavan. Do something visually impressive. Metalder is having a motw go through an existential crisis on the other channel right now. Jiraiya is next year do something crazy!
