Time for another nugatory adventure into #cmount lens photography.
This time with Kodak Cine Ektar 102mm f2.7 lens, built in 1947. Lets see what this brass & glass proboscis can do.
Im sure this wont be a bootlegs endeavor into frustration, not that I yearn for such tribulations

A short stroll with two pounds of metal & glass.
This Cosmicar TV 22-66mm f1.8 lens is a 70s vintage #Cmount lens once used on broadcast cameras. But today it soul purpose is to give me neck pain and tennis elbow.
Not the easiest lens to use, but it sure is fun, type two fun.

Let me introduce you to this lovely female cat, a daily visitor part of a small pack of strays that come by for food daily. She's the clingiest and most loving of them all. Almost as if she grew in a home and escaped, or something, she's very very sociable and approachable, plus those eyes...

Today's meager pixel harvest from the antiquated Kodak #cmount lens.
If there is a greater injustice to this vintage lens than my dullards eye, I've yet to encounter it. It renders smoothly.
Sadly same can't be said for the whale grease they used as lubricant for the focus ring.

Oddly on this one, no. It covers the MFT sensor except at like f18-22 where you see the corners.

Really unsure why Invest In Cook can't leverage the lockbox funds and has to put up with just making use of MFT. This really makes the "we can't design these roads to be multimodal" arguments really ring hollow.

As someone who plays around with old lenses. I got a cheap MFT camera years ago to test out old glass before shooting it on film..
That got me into MFT, its fun. I also got a pentax Q and Nikon V1 for playing around with c-mount and d-mount vintage glass. All tiny sensor mirrorless cameras.
