I'm gonna leave it a microchapter.
Chapter 03 will have some monster goodness that leads to plot development. And I don't want the syntax of a weird edit ruining the fun moments to come.

Three pages into chapter 02 of my Creature Feature #horror novella #WIP, Beast Wife. And I'm pondering whether to just let it be a micro chapter at 3 pages and then jump into the pushing the plot with chapter 03 or just let it ride in a weird edit choice.

Genuine question, what constitutes as a "microchapter"? I've been thinking of posting my drabbles and snippets in one publication on ao3 to keep all the little pieces together but I don't want people thinking I'm trying to game the system. I just only write little bits.

Yea the load bearing part isn’t DSA (I would not apply this logic to a crank run microchapter or even a 2020 PGH or 2015 RVA tier chapter) it’s local orgs that 1) a progressive candidate normally works with and 2) have a mechanism to scrutinize candidates
