Idk if it’s really a thing anymore but for a while there was a little microscene centered around them that coined the term “Dimes Square” and put out a couple of faux-edgy zines. Embarrassing stuff for all involved

they call that "algorave", like algorithm+rave. there's a bit of a microscene for it and there's a few established programs/languages, that guy definitely could've been using something custom though. never actually seen it done live myself, really cool that you had the chance.

the government should seriously consider funding project X level parties for every microscene on the saturday before tax day i think it would actually be the best motivator

Si e no: se lo paragoniamo -chessò- a Bad Bunny che citavi è ovvio che sia una nicchia, ma in un ambiente musicale sempre più diviso in microscene è in questo momento la scena più popolare. Comunque i Fontaines D.C. in classifica ci sono, anche da ste parti.

I know, on a technical level, how these songs were made, but the *execution* hasnt ever been matched imo. Every track could be a whole microscene. Not really the sort of thing that would get critical attention tho lol
