My parents have been passionate gardeners my entire life. They always acted like growing your food and eating off of it when its canned helped with costs. A few years ago (and I was in my midtwenties mind you) my Mom admitted that they have NEVER broken even. Not once.

it's very clear you don't know anything about trans people, saying that we should wait until midtwenties to transition is literally genocidal. Every year that we are denied transition is an immense amount of trauma that can't be fixed, something which results in PTSD, self harm, and substance abuse

it’s intriguing to me how strangers often assumed I was 5-10 years older than my actual age as a teenager, guessed about right when I was in my mid-twenties, and now in my late 30s are consistently assuming me to be 5-10 years *younger*, which I guess means I have resting midtwenties-face

This is basically how my bi realization went (also a woman in my 30s but realized midtwenties)
I also still tend to think of myself as an ally rather than part of the LGBT+ community bc I've only had and relationships w men then I catch myself and I'm like lol I guess I'm an ally to myself?
