It all gets tied up with tea cosies & we saw him as a favourite granda & nicknamed him Miggeldy.
But he was called President Higgins when it mattered.
I don’t think people seriously reporting should assume all ears understand context & she should be called by her deserved title.

By that logic, we should start classing all forms of dangerous driving as attempted murder, & killing someone with a car as murder, with the same minimum penalty. I'm actually good with that, but I don't imagine FF would be

And it's impossible not to contrast that with Catherine Connolly and how that just doesn't happen here with our president. Miggeldy went to rugby and LOI all the time and we didn't shut down the whole city for it.
