We did that with the 665 boat at MINSY in the 70's(?). AIUI 2 test crews (1 nuc, 1 non-nuc so of course no comms) in engine room & FC each needed boat to have a down angle at their end. So, flooded tanks till the hatches went under. I bet the PLAN incident was similar.

My tax dollars at work! The 1914 paddlewheel tug Eppleton Hall is on her way to Vallejo. I'm going over to #MINSY to have a beer at Mare Island Brewing Company and welcome her to "temporary quarters." 🌞 #MAIS #historicships #artistlife #NPS

Would love to oblige but sadly we lost touch a few years ago. The “Minsy” lot at Wakefield college were viewed as being quite progressive in their musical tastes: Sisters of Mercy, James Addiction were big.

One of my bezzies went to “Minsy” back in the early 90s and used to regale me with stories of Eat, Tribute to Nothing, and Lemonheads playing there.
