Strongly agree. The misclassification is potentially unavoidable given the complexity of the system. The willingness to accept the misclassification, the way T&S trust the classifier over humans, the unwillingness to provide procedural fairness in appeals: these are Meta's true failures

Again, behind every LLM scam there’s savings for mgmt less in tech and more in labor misclassification. “Vetted” here means fixing errors/rewriting gibberish which often ends up being more work than just writing the content originally. But because it’s “vetting” they can index it as cheaper labor

How about $1,000/violation bounties to anyone reporting legit employer violations of wage & hour laws, employee misclassification, OSHA, and UI or workers comp premium fraud paid for by extra penalties on violators?

My office recently investigated a construction employer for misclassification of workers. We found that they were violating a number of labor laws, denying workers sick time, fair wages and more.
