#misiorowski
I have watched the full video for the song. It's 1:40 in length. We have no choice but to submit to its power. The Misiorowski verse, at a minute in, fully broke me. Instant laughter.

Maybe like 10 of you will understand this, but the longer the postseason goes and the more tired I get, the more worried I am that I will open my mouth to say “Jacob Misiorowski” and the words “Jacob Wysocki” are gonna fall out.

The Brewers are my favorite baseball team that I've got no relation to because their visual branding is peak. I am weak to chaffs of wheat 🌾⚾🍺 went to see the pirates in September just cause I needed to see Misiorowski throw heaters and that boy smoked over 101 mph for 6 fucking innings

Jackson Chourio has a 554 OPS. Jacob Misiorowski has thrown 8 1/3 innings. The Brewers are 7-1.

True, but at least that team had 2 horses in the rotation in Johnson and Schilling, so you could see how the D-Backs could ride them to a title. Misiorowski and Henderson, with all due respect, aren’t quite their equals.

Yount, Molitor, Uecker, Sabathia, Braun, Yelich, Misiorowski, Chourio…

We’re gonna need a bigger Mount Rushmore.

Congrats! Impressive sweep. Happy for them, especially Yelich. Looking forward to the Fall Classic starting off with Misiorowski throwing 108 mph.

Same school as Misiorowski. Unbelievable.

Jacob Misiorowski is going to the World Series. Jackson Chourio is going to the World Series. Garrett Mitchell is going to the World Series. Brice Turang is going to the World Series. Logan Henderson is going to the World Series. Ashby, Uribe, Lara, Pratt, Frelick.

All developed in the MIL system.

Kansas City area natives Aaron Ashby and Jacob Misiorowski have led the Milwaukee Brewers to their second World Series appearance ever, first was in ‘82, against St. Louis (of course).
October 16, 2026 at 3:11 AM
But the Dodgers have to beat Misiorowski, Henderson, and Gasser

How were the Brewers, now 1 win from the World Series, able to dominate with the 17th highest tax payroll? Let's go position by position on how they've built the team, and determine if their status as a small market team has helped them. Yesterday the focus was position players. Today, it is pitching. Jacob Misiorowski threw 1,115 pitches at least 100 mph this season

Because of the MLB's rules, he is many more thousands of pitches of away from a long-term contract that fully reflects his contributions

And even if the mph *are* juiced, they'd also be juiced 15 years ago, and we know that the recent speeds have gone up gradually and consistently. I don't know how someone can watch a Misiorowski 94 mph slider and think "yeah, that pitch I saw growing up a lot." I sure as fuck didnt'.

And remember, the dodgers will have to have Misiorowski again

Jacob Misiorowski ran it up to 104.8 this postseason, the hardest pitch thrown in baseball over that span. Mason Miller peaked at 103.5, Edgardo Henriquez at 103.4. Pure top end arm strength.

If you take out Misiorowski (79 inches) and Megill (80 inches), the Brewers average something more like Sal Frelick (69 inches).

Jacob Misiorowski and his Brewers are two wins away from the World Series. But even if he leads Milwaukee to a ring, he's likely many hundreds of innings away from a long-term contract that fully reflects his contributions.

Jacob Misiorowski Throws Fast. His Route to a Big Payday Is Far Slower
Even if Misiorowski leads Milwaukee to the World Series, his body will likely need to withstand many more innings before he gets a mega-contract.

Brice Turang made some preseason MVP watchlists. Misiorowski was an All-Star as a rookie (even if that might have been a work 😅) and the Cy Young favorite since June. Andrew Vaughn was a #3 overall pick. You've got to be ignorant on purpose not to have heard of any of them.
