Thought I was on to something using the ModMii wizard and SysCheck but then it tells me that it's not compatible with SysCheck logs from vWii. So what now?!

It can! Use Modmii to create an emunand, copy its files into your dolphin's userfolder in the "Wii" folder. you will have an option to "Load System Menu 4.3U" or whatever version you pick. From there, you can go to dolphin's menubar -=> file -> change disc

Man, the Wii really is the easiest console to mod.
You just get an SD card, format it to FAT32, install ModMii on it, put it in the Wii, Letterbomb exploit and that's it.
