Something got me thinking for a while. Are viruses, germs, microorganisms, moluscs, planctons ext. Actually pokemons in that world? What would they look like?

I can't believe this guy.

I would never be so crass as to post some piece of my writing just for the likes. Even when I said that a cuttlefish is a Klein bottle of gender fluid, that was purely to raise awareness of the sociological struggles of gender binary moluscs who don't understand geometry.

Life is amazing! These little bivalves host algae in a symbiosis, providing and getting nutrients in return. Also, the moluscs have evolved fiber optics in their shell that filter out harmful UV, allowing light to get to the algae even with their shells closed!

Returned to chip at my toki pona translation of ONI because I thought it'd be funny and because I also hate myself, decided to focus on critter names

Attached some screenshot examples so I could explain my choices without having to create a thread since I'm a toki pona noob
Pacus have been translated as "kala jami", intended to be understood as "yummy fish." This is largely because its description states, "Every organism in the known universe finds the Pacu extremely delicious." Pips have been translated as "soweli kasi", intended to be understood as "leafy land animal" or "plant-like land animal" for obvious reasons. This won't apply to Cuddle Pips... also for obvious reasons. Will probably describe their color or fluffiness instead when I get to it later. An odd translation I decided to stick with for now. Plug Slugs have been translated as "molusa puwa", intended to be understood as "fluffy moluscs" or "fluffy slugs". "puwa" is an obscure word, of which I still want to sprinkle in the mod here and there, but "molusa" is a non-standard word that even fewer people will recognize. I might come back to this, and when I do, I may settle with "pipi ko puwa" or something similar. Jawbos have been translated as "kala suli jami", intended to be understood as "big yummy fish". I originally planned to describe its large jaw, which I may reconsider, but I thought it'd be funny to tie it back to Pacus due to their relationship and resemblance. Jawbo meat is described as "silky" and slightly higher in quality than Pacu filets.
