A new milestone! 49 wpm. Taking on a new keyboard layout AND a split column keyboard at the same time was some next level writer's procrastination but I'm starting to feel like it might be a justified detour. Only 20 more wpms to get to my usual speed in qwerty!

to this day i still type peck but at 100ish WPM and whenever i google if anyone else is like me, there's a reddit thread where someone with the same stats is asking about it and the comments are like "100wpm with peck typing?? you are lying, that is impossible. i do not believe you"

i haven't posted about this here so here it goes. Last month i bought a used keyboard, thinking i could use one when sitting at my desk paired to my laptop. It was a keychron k3 v2 and cost me around 30 eur, it has a low-profile which is nice for travel, backlight and bluetooth. ....

I put my timed home-row mods through an 85 WPM Monkeytype test. Normal key rolls stopped triggering shortcuts, while deliberate holds still worked.
