Google: "Watch this 7 hour monotonal monologuing arsehole - plus ad breaks - to be enlightened."
Me after watching it all: "So basically this was a 3 item text list to solve and could have been done in a 10 second vid. FML!"

a conflict between a military-civil service Guild of Guardians and an elected conciliar government was undoubtedly more fun to Robert Holmes than Gerry Davis's monotonal Cybermen, whom Holmes makes more like his bombastically triumphalist Sontarans. Tom Baker still has his 'still' moments,

Can’t recall the old Telegraph being as relentlessly monotonal as this rag pretending to be a serious newspaper.

This is the closest I came to thinking that they were on to something. But it's Thom's voice that really gets on my wick. He's so flat and monotonal. Sounds like there's zero commitment to what he's doing at all..

When the tragic opera about the Trump presidency is written it should end with a monotonal note from a cheap electric piano held until according to the house tradition the standing ovation subsides. I also think it should debut at the Kennedy Centre

As a kid, I could never imagine wanting to go to a heaven run by Jerry Falwell's God. Spend my life in misery to earn the privilege of eternity in a monochrome, monotonal white farmhouse full of the worst people I ever knew in life?
My options, with no hyperbole, were disbelief or suicide.

Sorry btw, didn’t mean to sermonise it’s just on my mind a lot lately. Seeing so much like monotonal design wherever I go innit.

Love how Remedy write their characters, they all felt believable. I kinda wish Alice was a bit more 'alive'? It might be an issue with the french dub, or simply a product of its time, but she felt a bit 'dull', her lines delivery was strange, monotonal.

hot takes, spit takes, contrarianism--and then there's Ross, who specializes in the violently unremarkable, eminently forgettable, cautiously neutral take. All of Ross's opinions can be summarized in a monotonal whisper that repeats 'go to church...go to church' until everyone is sleeping.

Simultaneous with the total suppression of contrary voices & ideas, you also have the artificial promotion of compliant individuals & stories. The resulting dirge is so tedious & monotonal & unsatisfying that even many lefties are beginning to wonder where all the good shows & films & plays went.

Listening to Buddenbrooks as I cycle and a (I'm sorry if he reads this, but..) very dull only just above monotonal American bloke is reading it.
It's nearly 30 hours long and I've managed 2 1/2 hours. It's so dry it's like listening to a 19th century clothes catalogue having it's contents described.
