This evokes memories of GW Bush's mortgage collapse.

Haley Stevens was absolutely offered big money … likely millions. Watch her mortgage and bank accounts.

i've been mortgage-free my entire life. ask me how!

The constant infantilalisation of young trans people is so fucking absurd. These are adults you are talking about Helen. They can vote, they can drive, they can work a full time job, have kids and a mortgage.
"Helen Joyce...said: “Given that we know the vast majority of elective mastectomies relating to gender identity are performed on girls who haven’t reached the crucial age of brain maturity at 25, the sharp rise in the number of these surgeries in recent years is a tragedy."

Remember your manners tonight.
That Halloween candy was a mortgage payment.

apart from everything else about this: what's he showing trump about the mortgage industry?! the mortgage industry is getting absolutely fucking crushed under Trump (despite the industry largely supporting him in 2024).

LoanDepot is about to get fucking delisted lmao

Memes, posters and documents related to the mortgage industry
In case you were wondering whether Trump is operating according to a devilishly clever plan to win the midterms

Mortgage markets are also national. There isn't one separate interest rate for Kansas and another one for the rest of the country. When we got our current mortgage in WA we did so online through Northpointe Bank in Grand Rapids MI.

Lloyds’ bank's profits doubled to £2.3bn as mortgage rates were increased to 6%, while Shell doubled its profits to £8bn as fuel prices were increased 40%.

Do you see now that the cost of living, is just the cost of billionaires?

I feel like people are *massively* underrating just how bad the spike in food and mortgage costs is.

Paying your mortgage off early by paying your mortgage off early is a neat trick. Why haven’t more people thought about doing it?

These stories always feel like "ten year old successfully runs two lemonade stands to help parents pay crushing mortgage"
Now THIS is what I love to see!

Texas Southern University students marching to the polls in Houston. The next generation is showing up! ♥️

it’s very simple: buy a house with a 30-year mortgage at age 15
October 31, 2026 at 2:18 PM
I like the assumption that a driving desire of under-45s is to be mortgage-free, rather than simply being able to get a mortgage in the first place
October 31, 2026 at 2:30 PM
Imagine the consequences. Say you buy or rent a house.
You are told you cannot sublet it. You do it anyway. The landlord or mortgage company find out.
They evict you and your tenant.
Breech of contract. Costs all
on you. You can’t get another mortgage or approved for a rental. You’re screwed and
November 1, 2026 at 8:37 AM
A nice novel twist, in that instead of 'it helps if your parents have money', this is 'buy during a housing slump, so you have a mortgage you can afford to make monthly overpayments on'.
October 31, 2026 at 2:18 PM
Weird how these posts aren’t putting food on the table or paying my mortgage.

Can’t get a home? Not immigrants
Can’t get a GP appt? Not immigrants
Food costs up? Not immigrants
Mortgage rates up? Not immigrants
Utility bills up? Not immigrants

Record profits for energy & oil companies, banks, utility companies & supermarkets = corporate greed

You’re looking the wrong way
