Literally just this but in reverse.

I am once again encouraging people to watch Mountainhead (2025). It needs to become a cult classic given its horrible levels of prescience.

The amount of ai slop everywhere is making me truly believe we have to shut down the internet. You can call me a luddite, I don't care. I can't believe I watched Mountainhead a year ago, hating it for being so stupid and now it's playing out in real time. Information doesn't matter if it's not real.

They think they are worthy of adulation. They adore themselves.

“The Mountainhead” was not a documentary, but the broligarchs think it was an ode to them.

FOUND OUT JUST NOW THAT THE ALBUM USED AI GENERATION FOR SOME OF THE THEMES LYRICS AND THE ALBUM COVER YOU CANT MAKE UP THIS SHIT LMAOOOOOOOO

im so happy mountainhead was actually good because they Stopped Doing That Shit, but dear god man
its such a 2022 album. not only does it feel like a “we really need a good pickmeup after that whole covid 19 thing that ended!” but also like most of the music videos for this album use ai because it was chic at the time. comedy gold

The Mountainhead is about to come to reality.

A lot of people lambasted Mountainhead for being way too on the nose and satirically outrageous and now I just think that it was probably downplaying how stupid they are.

This is “The Mountainhead”. Rich dudes ruling the world, dividing power, backstabbing one another.
Can we just not?

Big Ven from Mountainhead energy here 💀

The Mountainhead as a documentary.

Mountainhead? With Steve Carrell? I liked it. Weird but worth it for the satirical Elon Musk guy.

This is based on little more than a hunch, and also I’ve seen that movie Mountainhead. So I feel like I’m right.

Digger joins Mountainhead as the only films with a sub-3 star rating from me on Letterboxd. Illustrious company.

About halfway through watching Mountainhead. If the goal of the filmmakers was to present me — the viewer — with four protagonists who I’d like to hunt, kill, and eat… then well done.

Mountainhead(2025) currently sitting at a 2.5 on Letterboxd. I enjoy Armstrongs writing and found this to be him still at his peak.

The issue I think people had is not understanding how on the fucking nose he was on it.

Satire? Sure. Because of the fictional names… Like Succession imo

If you haven't seen the movie Mountainhead (2025) I recommend it. Supposedly satire but a bit too real for me. www.primevideo.com/detail/0H52J...

It pains me they aren't even trying to explain it. I can give them a poorly written gimmee: Netflix's "Mountainhead", which gave a reasonable portrayal of how well made AI video can be politically inflammatory to the point of inciting violence.

The elite class of people who own everything really can just knock out so much from us with a simple phonecall huh. I'm constantly reminded of Jesse Armstrong's MOUNTAINHEAD where en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mountai...

I managed to watch Mountainhead all the way through and it’s way too accurate, I believe.
