The best seat in the house along the Black Head Loop between Ballyvaughan and Fanore. I always make a point of sitting here to look over Galway Bay, not least because I helped carry it the kilometre or so up to this spot 7 years ago (and It was VERY heavy). #mountainmeithealwest #burren #ireland
A bunch of us from Mountain Meitheal West put up a new stile that cross the fence behind the Ben Lettery in the Twelve Bens on Sunday. Why ? Because the sheep had learned how to climb over the old ladder-style one. #mountainmeithealwest #stile #TwelveBens

However, the highlight of the day was seeing a pod of dolphins swimming along the coast below us. There was limited visibility across Galway Bay yesterday, but the dolphins were only 100m from the shore #mountainmeithealwest #dolphins #burren #galwaybay
