Just had a good practice session on various pinball machines, including 3 games on the new Fallout premium (wanted to give others a shot at it). Thanks to @zheanna.lol for some play tips.
This is a great machine with from what I've heard so far has killer music.

watching a pinball tournament that has gone on to 2AM local time now, these people are stuck in modern pinball purgatory, endless modes and multiballs each more baroque than the last, where scoring a billion is a threat to do six more balls of this

I have no connection or preference toward the musician but Barrels of Fun’s Bon Jovi plays pretty damn well. Unfortunately the ones at expo have issues with getting lost during multiballs #pinball

Goin for it again. 2/3 multiballs down. Did really good, but there's this crazy feature that once you get to new progress, the ball forgets that its allowed to go up all the ramps and shots.
Rest assured, I WILL give this ring a lava bath.

the thing about Pirates of the Caribbean (Stern, 2006) is that it's Medieval Madness but looser and weirder; the shots are there, you have the central toy to take down with repeated hits, but the locations are weird and Tortuga is a weird design experiment that keeps multiballs going

Unsurprisingly one of my favorite tables! I always play wizard cause her shield lasts longer and that REALLY helps in the more hectic multiballs

14. Godzilla (no, the other one) (Sega, 1998)
Beautiful recreation of an okay table! Got several multiballs and did a lot of stuff I don't think I've done on this table before (my playcount is probably less than 10). Managed a replay score and a spot on a high score table only I will ever see! hehe

Maiden's layout flows really good but I NEVER feel safe. I'm usually just wandering into multiballs and trying to make it work.

[The D&D at the arcade where we do league randomly just triggers the dragon 3-bank by itself, so some games people get 3 or more dragon multiballs.]

I seem to do that a lot more often. Walking Dead in league finals last week, I had Blood Bath lit on ball one, and was almost ready on Well Walker and Prison Multiballs too. Figured on ball two I’d get all three going and blow it up. Nope, two consecutive house balls, last place.

And I'm still absolutely livid over the multiballs 🤤

This was on a game I thought I wasn't going to be able to salvage, either. I crapped ball 1 out almost immediately and ball 2 not long after and then went crazy on ball 3. Unlocked 2 extra balls. Hit consecutive multiballs (2-ball & 3-ball) and then a playfield multiplier during a special.
