While cataloguing the Kent Archaeological Rescue Unit collection, our curator Andy uncovered this 16th–17th century #Bartmann jug neck from excavations at The Haversham Centre, Rochester. We'll be reporting it to the #BartmannGoesGlobal project!

Just saw this powerful Nkisi Nkonde statue from the Congo region—wood, copper, iron, and full of spiritual force. Stuffed with cloth, feathers, and sacred elements, it was used to invoke justice and protection. Controlled by a nganga, it’s magic you don’t mess with. #Africa #MuseumFinds #Faro
