Having a small heart attack when my graphics card display ports arent outputting a signal. but good news, i just needed to reseat the power cables… the graphics card is and whole PC for that matter are about 6 years old now…

I like how when you ask your digital computer to print a digital file via the digital WiFi on your digital inkjet printer, the printer makes clear how much it sucks to have to move some actual atoms around by producing a ten minute audio impression of a shipyard building a dredger from sheet steel.

if the ai bubble does actually crash and hardware prices fall, that'd be nice cuz my PC will be 6 years old next year. it's not on its last legs but its definitely showing its age with UE5. my graphics card is from a manufacturer that stopped making graphics cards years ago 💀

My personal daydream for a genAI-free system involves grafting a web browser you've never heard of named Servo to an operating system you've never heard of named Redox and working outward from there. The Rust library ecosystem will be a problem. Graphics drivers will be a problem. It's worth trying.

Fun and joy in the Mara-Verse. Chrome crashed so hard it froze my graphics card, which corrupted my C: Drive, and corrupted my Boot Drive. I am having to Reset my entire computer. So, Caps will be slow.
