For all you Hebrew readers out here, an op-ed I wrote for ynet against the pro-nakbah calls on the Israeli right. I argue that they’re a political and moral non starter. I also wonder at how quickly the Israeli right went from denying the Nakbah to calling to reenact it.

I do take Palestine demos today as expressions of support for the October 7th atrocities, and I do assume the people attending are either clueless or active supporters. I do consider 'Globalise the intifada' to be inciteful, and certainly as outrageous as 'Gllobalise the nakbah' would be.

Speelt ook iets heel anders mee. In 1948 was er de Nakbah, waarbij 750.000 Palestijnen Israël verlieten, (verjaagd werden). Jordanië en Egypte willen niet meewerken aan n tweede Nakbah.
