Last month AI crawlers generated 90% of my site's traffic, forcing me to pay penalties
Problem solved after moving nameservers to Cloudflare+turning on AI crawler blocking.
Site monthly outbound data back to ~40GB per month, down from 800GB (!!) No impact on human visitors

Since DOGE took over, we have been doing routine surveillance on the full .gov DNS tld.
The code needs some work but have noticed some recent changed.
A new domain creators.gov just appeared in DNS.
And us-cert.gov just changed from Akamai's nameservers to Cloudflare's. 👀

Nameservers switched over. For now (for me at least) going to somethingpositive.net seems to take you to the new site but the URL defaults back to the wordpress URL, and I am too tired to fuck with it anymore tonight.

Jeeez. I switched my nameservers over from Google to Cloudflare and enabled a bunch of anti bot and scraper protections. It's blocked thousands of requests in the past few hours alone. Thank you, Cloudflare. Holy shit.
Thanks, web scrapers, for bumping up my website hosting bill as over 99% of all requests to my site were from scraping bots :) Anyway, fuck AI and fuck these companies abusing it for their own gain at others' expense.

Switched DNS from our hosting company to Cloudflare and holy shit what a difference. We were getting taken offline by hordes of predatory AI bots, and it stopped as soon as I changed the nameservers. Pages load instantly now.

We are also thinking of making a Cloudflare integration, so you can use Cloudflare nameservers, and still have the AT Protocol integrations and ability to read/edit your DNS from our lexicon

We are also thinking of making a Cloudflare integration, so you can use Cloudflare nameservers, and still have the AT Protocol integrations and ability to read/edit your DNS from our lexicon
just found out the vatican used to name their nameservers after the archangels, having had `michael.vatican.va`, `gabriel.vatican.va` and `raphael.vatican.va`; as well as having other servers named after the apostles
