naogin + restraint
#bsd #naogin
In retrospect, Gin should have seen something like that coming. Especially when Naomi had been chosen precisely due to being as cunning and shameless as she was-- no wonder she got into first Dazai and then the boss’ good graces easily. Having been tasked with helping out in training her for combat had resulted in sparring, which in turn had resulted in Gin pinning Naomi against a wall. And, as they should have predicted but didn’t, she chose to try a different approach when force failed her in the endeavor of breaking out from their hold. Such a strategy, of course, was trying to distract them. “Now what, Gin-kun? Are we gonna kiss?” She had said, fluttering her lashes and catching Gin entirely off-guard. And now, it was up to them not to let it go to their head. Easier said than done, because Gin wasn’t immune to sly pretty girls and both were standing so close it was indeed kissing range. But it didn’t matter, since Naomi was just saying that to mess with their head and had even the smallest chance at turning the tables in her favor… right? At least, given how Gin was currently holding both her hands up with one of theirs, there was no risk of Naomi trying to pull down their mask. Or Gin might as well start exploding. Taking a deep breath that didn’t help when it came to preventing blush from spreading through their face but did clear their head a little, Gin dashed backwards and got ready to continue. Letting her think she had won was the best thing to do for the time being, if nothing else.

Started out as nothing in the strangest sense frankenjoly Summary: For BSD Rarepair Week 2024's day 4: blood I think naogin would be a kickass duo at work (and like the idea of them smooching too). Sooo post-canon au where Naomi's the one picked to join the mafia because of her brains, Gin's appointed as the main responsible to show her the ropes, and there's flirting. “So, Gin-kun.” When Gin nodded in response, because there was nothing more to say or do anyway, Naomi offered them a toothy grin which was… Difficult to make any interpretation out of, to say the least. “Are you gonna be a rough kinda teacher, perhaps?” As she spoke, the girl had also taken some steps in their direction, staring intensely into his eyes as her smile only embiggened.

naogin + shy kiss
#bsd #naogin
“I need your help, Gin-kun.” Naomi announced upon approaching her, interlocking their arms together and giggling as if they had just shared an inside joke. Gin, of course, tilted her head in a way that more than evidently signaled confusion, but also did nothing to stop the girl from proceeding. After all, the physical closeness wasn’t uncomfortable, but quite the opposite. “With what?” She replied, very much not ready for what was coming next. “Give me a kiss.” “... What?” Blinking in an even deeper confusion, Gin stared up and down at Naomi, as if that could tell her if the other was just joking or actually needed it for something-- neither were far-fetched options, given Naomi’s penchant for both pulling pranks in that fashion and downright scheming. “See, I needed a fake partner for a small thingie tonight-- don’t worry, I’ll tell you all the details when I can, and you’re the best candidate.” So, scheming it was. “Me?” Gin immediately said. It was flattering, that for sure. Still… “C’mon. Please?” To Naomi’s credit, and Gin’s own detriment, she didn’t even have to fully call in the big guns and pout when she gave in to help her; pulling down her mask and hoping not to blush too much, Gin leaned in and pressed a brief kiss to Naomi’s cheeks. Something that, by the way, was received by quite the amount of delight. “Thanks!!!” Naomi pretty much beamed. “Now, onto the details.”

naogin + leather
#bsd #naogin
On the way back from dinner, Naomi started shivering. Which may or may not be too sudden and convenient, but they knew better than to try and call out her on it: if it was true, Gin would end up seeming like an asshole, and if it was a ruse… well, it was very difficult not to take the bait anyway. As cliché as the situation might end up being when they did-- though those were popular for a reason, after all. “Here.” Taking off their jacket, an old leather one that had been Gin’s for years and might become a family heirloom if either they or Ryû so wished, Gin put it over Naomi’s shoulder in their best rendition of a chivalrous gesture. “My, thanks.” The way in which Naomi instantly smiled, satisfied and a tad smug, tipped the scales just so slightly towards the whole thing having been planned-- but, again, there was no definitive proof, and Naomi tended to smile like that anyway when things went her way no matter if planned or not, so…  Besides, no matter the reason, seeing that expression always managed to make Gin feel a tad weak. Funny, though, how they had grown up wrinkling their nose at Dazai and his scheming despite the lingering thankfulness over being taken off the streets with Ryûnosuke, and yet Gin still had a small thing for scheming types sometimes. Though they didn’t have to think much about Dazai, not when still on a date with Naomi.
