My mind has been blown clean off learning Luke 'the Nuke' Shimon Peres Negev Nuclear Research Center Akehurst plays Napoleonics.
The two known tabletop war gamers in Parliament are James Cleverly (Dark Angels) and Luke Akehurst (Napoleonics) adding to my theory that you should keep us well away from the levers of power

I don’t understand why anyone is fixating on calling out “fascism” anyway. I mean it’s definitely *something* that will lead to trouble but maybe we don’t know the name for that yet, and should stay open minded. Makes me wonder what Mussolini’s early objectors called what he was doing. Napoleonics?

Very cool! Reminds me of a cardboard Napoleonics product published by GDW in the 70s called System 7, with large cardboard counters in national colours to represent formations.

Hobby update klaxon!! So, the homemade hedges are finished, as are some French Napoleonic officers (2 artillery, 1 Imperial Guard) and a 'tweaked' Treebeard... more to come 🙂

I’ve been so good for 12 months all I’ve purchased and painted are 18mm Napoleonics… but I’m beginning to cast glances at oathmark dwarves. I’m going to keep imagining Napoleon shouting at me to keep the mania away.
