Štát chce zvýšiť príspevok pri narodení dieťaťa aj podporu pre rodiny, ktorým sa narodia dvojčatá či viaceré deti naraz. Ak návrh poslancov prejde, nové sumy by mohli platiť od januára 2027.

Nárok na mateřskou nevzniká automaticky, pro její získání je i v roce 2027 nutné splnit podmínky účasti na nemocenském pojištění.
