#necklaced-warbler
Meet the Canada Warbler! This striking “necklaced” warbler is named for Canada, with about 80% of all Canada Warblers breeding here. You may recognize this bird from Birds Canada’s very own logo! Have you spotted one on its journey this fall?

Often dubbed the #necklaced-warbler for its striking black chestband, the #CanadaWarbler is a vibrant, energetic songbird of #northern #woodlands. It’s the last warbler to arrive on breeding grounds, and the first to depart for #SouthAmerica to escape the winter.

Happy Tuesday friends, it's much easier to snap photos than to go back through to look and edit them. Case in point, this male, Magnolia Warbler who I photographed several times in May and only now am posting. #birds #birdingOH #wildlife #naturephotography

I literally stepped one foot into the boardwalk at Magee Marsh in Ohio today, and this male, Magnolia Warbler was right there. It’s truly an intimate setting to birdwatch and particularly when it comes to warblers. #birds #MageeMarsh
