still, all of this is just some things ive thought about for my nelf priest so nothing's for certain yet, but im definitely centering him as someone who adores the moon, not as a goddess, but as a mother and parental figure 🌘

And here's stuff that's IN classic that I feel is bad lore: teldrassil (nelf capital should be in ashenvale), honestly feel nelf should have been horde and undead should have been alliance (feel same about belf/Draenei), people being weirdly chill with warlocks, dark iron as baddies.

It had gotten bad enough that I didn't want to keep playing Alliance anymore. My human pally main has been rotting at 65, since I did an morc BM to max level for both TWW and midnight. [Also holding out for Kul Tiran Pallies but might have to settle for NELF].

Playing a Male Nelf Priest, it's interesting to still be called 'Priestess.' Be cool if they use Forever to explore change in Nelf gender roles by things like 'Priestess' becoming gender-neutral

I also never really vibed with any Horde race. I played nelf in Classic up until race changes became an option and went draenei. The only Horde race I really dug was Undead, and they don't get hunter in Forever for now.

I’ve been trying to make a new nelf toon for WoW Forever and nothing is really vibing with me. Unfortunately I think it’s because rora was like the most supreme and quintessential nelf character for my tastes, and any nelf that isn’t her just falls short……. I love and miss my Batman nelf…….

A friend told me a nerfed version of Demon Hunter is getting there, so that may still be a solid pick for a Nelf. Otherwise you're probably on the right idea with Pally. Warlocks aren't too shabby either.

I think they should have gotten the same treatment like the nightborne where they have some nelf animations they are still their own thing and not just night elfs with arcane tattoos.
Because it feels wrong to see Skyborne be shamans and druids it doesn't feel like it suits them.
