I'm sure most of the brilliant people I met working on NetBackup will... continue to work on NetBackup. It's a good product that makes a LOT of money.

I worked on the filesystem backend for NetBackup. As opposed to the tape backend which most people used and most developers worked on. It had some really unique features that I haven't seen anyone else successfully copy even today!

As I have vented about, we are currently migrating on onprem file servers to Azure NetApp Files. We have landed on "Use NetBackup to restore to ANF and then delta."
