It can do reasoning, but it does not reason, like a human. It cannot. Eventually, with neuromorphic engineering and quantum computing, we may get systems CLOSER to thinking like a human. But in the meantime, it IS basically a pattern extractor tool. engineering.washu.edu/news/2026/Gr...

Reading about
@typesafeai.bsky.social
and Jev points to the need for borderline reflexive intelligence much like our own bodies. We don't wait for our brain to tell us something is harmful to us(physically) and the same will be the case for robotics. Neuromorphic computing is needed here
