Interactive Leaflet map of the North Platte River drainage basin above the North Platte at Northgate stream gage, including 1st and higher order NHDPlus streams. One line of code with USGS nhdplusTools R package. Zoom in and you can see the irrigation ditches that are part of the network.

The nhdplusTools R package from USGS can generate simple interactive Leaflet maps of river basins and networks with one line of code. Here is the North Platte above the WY-NE state line, which I've used for almost two decades as a case study of mountain snowmelt and stream discharge.
