Sen. Nighthorse Campbell was a strong advocate for Colorado and served as one of the few Native Americans in the history of our Congress. He was truly one of a kind, and I am thinking of his family in the wake of his loss.

My pops died 20 years ago tonight and I was just reminiscing.
One time we were in DC and this dude on a motorcycle cut us off and at the next stop light my dad cursed a blue streak at the guy who started jawing back and they almost came to blows.
We later found out it was Ben Nighthorse Campbell.
