It’s hard to be a nonchristian in the Bible Belt. Just learned my daughter’s 2nd grade teacher refers to her teaching job as her “ministry” which gives me pause. My daughter is autistic and minimally speaking so I have no way of knowing what she hears in class. Am I overthinking?

Christianity really is 99% stolen from Judaism, that's a hard fact, not even remotely speculation or overstatement. I spent my lifetime learning that exact thing. Not just Christianity either. Several nonchristian religions have Jews to thank for many of their core tenets and rituals.
