Harassing & socially marginalizing gender nonconforming or physiologically atypical cis folks, creating double binds where trans folks have no bathroom (including the one corresponding to our assigned sex at birth) that we can be sure they will even be allowed to use, etc. is all seen as desirable.

This is an oversimplification of course because I'm currently annoyed at how normal people treat people with nonconforming thoughts and styles like they'll bring down their picket fences and manicured lawns.
