The TOP leader says she will phone "the party" (not coalition group) with the most seats

"would have walked away from current coalition agreement"

It seems TOP would provide only a support or confidence & supply arrangement to Luxon & co (if they met its 5 bottom lines)

Voting card enabled, like The Opportunity Party one of 2 3 headed hydras to consider.

NACT + NZF (1996 for its life now) and LabourGreen + TPM.

How are TOP deciding?
I have my voting card (the cheapest one in the world, a corner to cut off a bit of paper received in the mail - via a red wooden letter box on top of a post)

Voting advice on-line

A "blue-green party" is currently at over 5% in the polls

It poses as a modern centrist party (now NZF is NACTed)
The Opportunity Party. But, Opportunity for who?

This is ACT Nationals Brave New World neoliberal's economic “pie”

Brought to you by distraction, the myth of meritocracy & the erosion of collective rights & division

The greatest danger is not inequality itself but a population conditioned to accept it

like the one really old person who says 'thats ai' or 'fake news' this guy's job on fb for nzpols is to do the 'is criticism of Luxon all you lot have' line. but he doesn't get that that is the single biggest problem and the thing we need to 86.

OPINION: Two months out from voting, the Labour party is poised to squander the opportunity of a lifetime with its political ineptitude.

Important to also know what conservatives are conserving

- its not resources
- its not the environment
- its not services
- its not social support

Seems like they are conserving a white privileged patriarchal system where they're at the top

They are conserving the patriarchy for the rich

Is anyone keeping track of the number of sector candidate events that parties decide not to attend? There was a Youth one in Ōtautahi last week plus the BHN ones where some invitees decline. Maybe a table with name of sector/event and date and then ticks for which parties attended? #nzpols
Wait what do you mean none of our currently governing parties are interested enough in science to come talk to scientists
August 17, 2026 at 12:08 AM
I guess semantically, if you pause them they are no longer fast, and so logically yeah, you can't have a fast track that is paused.

But it's getting genuinely insane the number of NZpols people who keep trying to insist that *their* little thing can't ever be undone for any reason. =/
