The healthcare marketplace would like me, a self-employed person with no recorded disabilities who has never served in the military, to prove that I DON’T have insurance through an employer, the VA, or Medicare.

this stuff saddens me bc it's always the people with legit service dogs and disabilities who suffer for it. and I always have to brace myself reading people's reactions too. :')

This technology would be used in ways that are racist, classist, and against people with disabilities. This technology would be used to cast doubt on truth and edit out anything billionaires don’t like. This technology is quite literally anti-human and needs to be condemned in no uncertain terms

When we build car-free infrastructure and motorists claim that it discriminates against people with disabilities, they fail to understand how enabling human-scale infrastructure is for people with mobility challenges. Remove cars, restore the freedom of independent mobility.

Republicans are always pretending to care about the “dignity of Work” but they do everything they can to stop remote work which allowed so many people with disabilities to re-enter the workforce. They like controlling people with disabilities and their finances.

And my experience is that people with disabilities get constantly harassed by people who are so determined to not accidentally let in the rare bad actor that they'd rather harass all people with disabilities to prevent it.

It's dangerous. It's eugenicist and borderline genocidal. And the targets are racialised minorities, the socio-econonic vulnerable, and people with disabilities. We cannot allow this technology to be used, and we cannot allow it to be further developed.
