An obidome is a decorative clasp or ornament worn on the cord over an obi, the sash used with kimono.
These pieces are very finely crafted.

The obidome featuring the motif of "Raijin," the god of thunder, which I decorated using maki-e, has finally been sold. An obidome is an ornamental accessory worn when tying a kimono sash. Since even Japanese people rarely wear kimono these days, it's quite difficult to sell items like this.

Obidome are small brooches worn threaded onto the obijime (a decorated sash in order to tie an obi firmly). Obidome first appeared in the early 19th century, Japan, more of a form of obi clasp, rather than an accessory as we usually use today. Text and image from tokypic.com

Jûgoya is the moon of the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, also known as the harvest moon.
This charming close-up details a Jūgoya (harvest moon) themed ensemble styled by @usako_kimono, perfectly capturing the seasonal motif of the moon rabbit (tsuki no usagi).
