It's all obsolete now but
It's all obsolete now but fwiw I got a lot of value out of code review back in the before times. Good code review culture took hard work--setting expectations that people leave actionable feedback, ask questions, be clear about what they know, avoid bikeshedding, etc. But it was very valuable!

"Publishers have always seen authors as a bit of a nuisance, and now there’s a desire to make us obsolete,” says one bestselling Big Five author. “What’s fascinating to me is that in the process of trying to make authors obsolete by using AI, the publishers are rendering themselves obsolete.”
For @wired.com, I spoke with Macmillan and PRH staff about AI at the rest of the Big Five.

I also spoke with bestselling authors who've gone to "war" with publishers over AI use and are now demanding disclosures and threatening to leave their publishers altogether. www.wired.com/story/macmil...

This is the happy social media post that was rendered obsolete only hours after it appeared, as the Supreme Court voted without recorded dissent against the DOJ's ridiculous, abusive suit against California.
“The DOJ's suit lacks an adequate legal basis in federal law,” says Cato’s Walter Olson on the Department of Justice's bid to block 20,000 California mail-in ballots.

“The Constitution reserves these decisions to the states.”
