The documented loss of obstetricians was published in the peer-reviewed Journal of the American Medical Association and confirmed using multiple data sources. Licenses alone do not accurately reflect how many doctors are actively practicing obstetrics in Idaho.

My hospital board is making a decision to close our obstetrics services right now.
It was sobering to learn that seven rural hospitals are at a very high risk of closing or plan to substantially reduce in-patient services, including obstetric care. These cuts in services will be exacerbated once the Medicaid cuts from HR1 are fully implemented.

My hospital board is making a decision to close our obstetrics services right now.
I am so utterly offended by the Marshall commercial with the old hard-looking woman saying Marshall covered her obstetrics expenses. Marshall would not allow PWT like her in his office. Clearly she is paid to advocate for Marshall. A disgrace to her class and to women across Kansas and America!
