The City of Toronto just introduced another large property tax increase. Their total tax increase over the past three years is more than double the rate in Ottawa.

I just realized the 88 no longer goes to Kanata, it ends at Bayshore. So now trips that used to take 2 buses take 3 instead

I am at city hall today for the Mayor’s breakfast with the new GM of OCTranspo, & to delegate at Transit committee and the same gentleman I keep seeing here at city hall is Noah Vineberg, president of ATU279 who is a strong advocate for OCTranspo staff at city hall.

I used OCTranspo since I moved here in 2001. Didn’t own a car until 2010 but still took transit to work. I had to give up on OCTranspo because it was so unreliable I couldn’t guarantee I could pick up my kids at day care after work on time, ie BY 6 pm!
